The construction of Statsbyggs first Digibygg is up-and-coming.  Statens Vegvesens Station at Gol, is designed by HRP architect Ingar Dalen.

The station is a combined traffic and control station. Statens Vegvesen – The Norwegian Public Roads Administration –  has a goal to further implement a effective external control of road traffic, especially truck traffic, with a view to increasing road safety. In this context it is also required that rest stations are to be established for drivers to utilize. These should help to comply with driving / rest restrictions.

HRP AS v / siv ARK MNAL Ingar Dalen (pictured below) was engaged by Statsbygg on the design of the new Station. The station will serve traffic along RV7 and RV52 between eastern and western Norway. The assembly station should be unified and create a good and open working environment for all. Further emphasis is placed on the use of materials and equipment that are environmentally friendly, have high wear resistance and low maintenance requirements.
